Consideration of sustainability in product development is becoming increasingly important and encompasses many aspects design. In this study, a bibliometric review recent sustainable design publications using Web Science VOSViewer carried out. The indicates that the majority concerning oriented towards environmental science-led subject areas production-led journals. Analysis author keyword co-occurrences reveals circular economy, life cycle assessment, management, optimization are most popular topics research. analysis also researchers fail to link research activities design, which leads lack access relevant can make products more sustainable. Building on findings, authors propose four future directions aim guide better correlate with namely: interpretation, integration, assessment validation, improvement.
